Is Reclamation Worth the Expense?

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

“If you’re not facing a drought, is reclamation worth the expense?” ASI Director of Sales and Marketing Joel Wollin answers this question by providing a cost/benefit analysis of water reclamation projects that might surprise you in the September 2008 issue of Professional Carwashing & Detailing magazine.

The article discusses how eco-friendly practices are having an impact on the carwash industry and specifically water use issues. Rather than focus on environmentally friendly marketing and the “green” hype, the articles focuses on the financial aspects of water use decisions that carwash operators face; cost savings, reclaim and reuse strategies, and regulatory issues.
